Thomas Bennett House Wedding Inspiration from Jeanne Mitchum Photography
If you're in the market to be inspired, then I'm about to hook you up with this Thomas Bennett House beauty! The lovely Jeanne Mitchum Photography sent over this killer collaboration with Wildflowers Inc. and I immediately knew I had to share it. The color palette starts with varying shades of green and slowly adds in magenta with pops of yellow and blue. Not only did the vivid color scheme pull me in, but the awesome mixture of textures that Wildflowers Inc. created completely sealed the deal. I'm loving the use of succulents (big and small!), the addition of billy balls and how effortlessly the centerpieces made its way down the table. The invitation suite from Merrymint Designs combined a beautiful emerald green with gold accents while the intricate cake with lace-like details was styled to the tee! The vintage table settings with local honey favors from Bees-R-Us were the perfect way to finish off the look. Last but not least, the lovely Amanda looked divine in her lace gown with a sweetheart neckline.

Isle of Palms Shoot by JoPhoto
I'm having some issues letting go of Summer. It seems like it came and went way too soon. So, for everyone that is struggling with transitioning into the Fall season, I have a feeling you'll love reminiscing with this lovely Isle of Palms shoot from destination wedding photographer, JoPhoto. Charity of Honeybee Events and her fiance, Luke, were the ideal pair for this seaside photo session. Beautiful Charity donned an adorable white bikini, enviable coverup and a big, floppy hat...the perfect beach attire. The duo started with their toes in the sand and slowly made the short walk down to the Isle of Palms pier before they hopped in the ocean for a few playful shots. If you need to see a little more of the magic JoPhoto works with a camera, check out this dreamy Boone Hall Plantation shoot.
All color photos were shot on film using a Contax 645 camera, Kodak Portra 160 film, and the film lab was PhotoVision.

Hilton Head Wedding Inspiration at Stoney Baynard Ruins
I'm thrilled to share this gorgeous Hilton Head Wedding Inspiration shoot from the talented Julie Roberts. This beauty was on the grounds of the Stoney Baynard Ruins and combines romantic evening sunlight, the ruins of an old, mysterious Southern Plantation and a veil that's bound to take your breath away.
From Julie Roberts Photography: "This gorgeous couple, Sara and Jack, agreed to model for a little styled session that I did in Hilton Head last summer. I've been so excited to feature these images that are full of super sultry evening sun light. When I first thought of doing this session I called up my friends at The Gilded Gown and they happily agreed to lone us this gorgeous gown, veil, and all accessories as well as the suit and accoutremont. The adorable flowers were done by Allie with Sassafras Flowers. I discovered her through the wonders of facebook ... and was thrilled when she agreed to be a part of this little project. Her work is so whimsical and artistic! The location for our session was a sweet little find my mom discovered tucked away on Hilton Head Island, SC. The Stoney-Baynard Ruins are the remnants of a grand antebellum plantation home built 1793-1810 by Captain John Stoney. The original house was built of timber and tabby which is a mixture of oyster shells, lime, and sand. The up close texture of the ruin walls was WONDERFUL. The home was raided during the Civil War and Union forces made it their headquarters. It burned down shortly after the Civil War. I LOVE the mystery and charm of old plantation ruins. Paired with the elegance of a lace wedding gown and string of fresh water pearls this scene is my idea of the perfect deep south wedding inspiration."

Emily + David tied the knot two years ago and were ready for some updated photos to grace their living room walls. So, they enlisted the help of Alabama wedding vendors, Megan Forehand Photography + Jamie Thompson Design, to create a romantic atmosphere, gorgeous floral crown and a very memorable afternoon. Sequins and Peony Wedding Inspiration by Rach Lea Photography
I've totally been digging everything my lovely friends at Ivory + Beau have been up to. Savannah's newest bridal boutique currently carries 9 permanent designers but they also love to treat their Lowcountry ladies to fun pop-up shops featuring up-and-coming talents. But best of all, this talented twosome is nothing short of perfection when it comes to styling a bride, and they've so kindly decided to share their most recent creation captured by our favorite Savannah photographer, Rach Lea Photography, with A Lowcountry Wedding! Armed with a dreamy, pale pink Vera Wang gown, the creative team whipped up this amazing sequins and peony wedding inspiration that has knocked cute, little wedding socks off! Give me some sparkle, a jaw dropping peony bouquet and a killer Lowcountry wedding photographer to capture it all, and I'm one happy lady!

Lowcountry Bridal Session from sMm Photography
When the talented Stefanie of sMm Photography sent over this dreamy South Carolina session drenched in natural light, I knew it had to grace the pages of A Lowcountry Wedding. I mean, who doesn't love when a bride-to-be includes her beloved animal? But when I read the sweet story, I fell even more in love (if that's even possible!). The lovely Kate rescued her sweet horse Penny right before her wedding in June but wanted to wait to do her bridal portraits until she had time to rehabilitate her, and we're so glad she did!

William Aiken House Wedding Inspiration {Justina Bilodeau Photography}
I’ve never met a Jenny Packham gown I didn’t completely obsess over. Like, head-over-heels, OMG-can-I-have-every-single-one, pick-my-jaw-off-the-floor obsessed. So, obviously when the wonderful Justina Bilodeau sent over these amazing images of her recent collaboration at the William Aiken House with Dannon K. Collard and Hair by Alise, the swooning just wouldn't stop. Thanks to White on Daniel Island for showing off these gorgeous gowns and Rosefire Designs for supplying the bling.

Boone Hall Plantation Wedding Inspiration {JoPhoto} LB Floral
Last week I had a hankering to feature a styled shoot, so I put it out there on twitter and my little heart couldn't have been happier with what rolled into my inbox. Southern wedding photographer, JoPhoto, made my day and is about to make your week with this stunning Boone Hall Plantation wedding inspiration shoot. With the help of LB Floral and Vanity Salon, the group created one magical Lowcountry afternoon. We adore this lovely floral bridal halo, a blooming cotton field, and two dreamy gowns (lace wedding gown, and a flowy bridesmaid gown). Along with the amazing natural light, The Avenue of Oaks lining the drive of Boone Hall Plantation was the perfect Charleston wedding backdrop and we have a feeling your Pinterest boards will agree.
DIY Centerpieces
We've got a big week on the horizon at A Lowcountry Wedding! For starters, we'll be teaming up with a crew of crazy, talented Charleston wedding vendors for a nautical-inspired shoot at the South Carolina Aquarium that is going to knock. your. socks. off. On Thursday, you'll find us at The NotWedding with some of South Carolina's finest wedding vendors as we treat Lowcountry brides to an evening full of inspiration at the beautiful Rice Mill Building, but in the meantime, Blake is showering you with some easy, yet impactful, do-it-yourself centerpieces.
.
I just love the idea of using vintage bottles as flower centerpieces. You can use different sizes, shapes, and colors. There are so many things you can do with them and they just look so cute!
If you want to add a pop of color you can do it yourself! All you have to do is pour paint on the inside of the vase and swirl around to coat. So easy!

White Point Gardens {Kelly}
If Kelly Sauer is involved, then you know you’re about to get your pretty on, and if this isn’t pretty then I just don’t know what else is. The bride, Kelly, is strikingly beautiful, effortlessly gorgeous and such a natural in front of the camera that you can’t stop starring at these images. It was so hard to narrow down my favorites! I can only assume she is any photographer’s dream! With her hair swept off her face, she donned a classic Anne Barge gown that was paired with a matching necklace and earrings. All I can say is Kelly Sauer sure does have a knack for capturing loveliness.

Southern Wedding Trends {Patterns + Prints}
Let me tell you what, I'm super obsessed with throwing in a pattern or two into your wedding day decor. It's modern and stylish and brings a bit of sass to your Southern wedding reception. Since we're all about the Pinterest around here, we've been collecting mounds of pattern inspiration and it's time we share the loveliness. Whether it's stripes, polka dots or even a little chevron, a touch of print makes a huge impact. So ladies, which one's your fav?
Charleston Weddings {Lace Inspiration}
I interned for Spoleto Festival one summer (years ago!), so when Reese Moore Wedding Photography shot over this jaw-dropper, I think I squealed. The Spoleto Festival Headquarters is located in Downtown Charleston on 14 George Street and as you can see, the building is just magnificent. Now, pair one-heck of a backdrop with a crazy cast of Charleston wedding vendors and you get this lavish lace inspiration shoot designed by Fabulous Fete. The beautiful model was outfitted in a dreamy Kira Elizabeth original that was complemented with delicate flowers from WildFlowers Inc., an elegant cake from Elaine's Event and stunning stationery from Open House. Go ahead, get your pin on!
Charleston Bridals {Haley} Richard Bell Photography
You know we like to make you smile right? Well, we thought you might want to kick off your morning with a little teaser from behind the lenses of Richard Bell Photography. Cause Lord knows we want to! This morning we're sharing Haley's stunning bridal session that took place in the heart of Holy City. The talented Mell Bell spent the afternoon with the beautiful Bride as they started their jaunt at the Waterfront Park where the picturesque Pineapple fountain made an appearance before enjoying the cobblestone streets. Haley stunned in a strapless gown with a beautiful beaded bodice and soft veil. If you think this is swoon-worthy, just wait til this afternoon when you feast your eyes on Haley's Mills House Hotel Wedding! It's a Lowcountry stunner you won't want to miss.
