Haley + Greg got hitched this past Fall in a formal, Southern affair in downtown Charleston.  Haley went with a chic black and pink color palette while she donned a classic ivory gown.  Their intimate ceremony took place at the First Baptist Church of Charleston before heading to the historic Mills House Hotel to celebrate the night away to the tunes of Finger Snappin' Entertainment!  Thanks to Mell Bell of Richard Bell Photography for capturing this fabulous Charleston Wedding!

Folly Beach Wedding {Lauren + Mark} Riverland Studios

I thought today might be a good day to escape this dreary, winter weather and head to the breezy shores of Folly Beach where Lauren and Mark tied the knot this past September.  Casual, intimate and understated, it  was a Charleston destination wedding done right!  I'm loving Lauren's coastal color palette, cheerful bouquets and her relaxed wedding day hairstyle created by Ash and Co. Bridal Hair and Make up.  Her bridesmaids donned turquoise bridesmaids dresses that were paired with adorable bouquets with Gerber daises.  To end the evening, the couple and their guest sent off beautiful wish lanterns into the lovely Lowcountry sky!   Thanks to Caroline of Riverland Studios for a capturing this beautiful, Folly Beach wedding!

Downtown Charleston Engagement {Patrick Hall Photography}

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I love a good engagement session.   Especially one that takes place in the land we love the most! Marion Square Wedding {Leah + Brian}

To finish off this fabulous, Southern Wedding Sunday, we've got an intimate, Marion Square affair for you to gawk over!  Leah + Brian kept things simple and romantic.  She wore a beautiful, strapless gown with a killer, orchid bouquet, while her husband-to-be was dapper in his dress blues.  They said 'I do' in a small, outdoor ceremony and then joined their friends and family at the Embassy Suites for an evening of celebration!  Thanks to the lenses of Whimsey Photography by Cana for capturing all this stunning Charleston wedding!

Creek Club at I'On wedding {Jenny + David}

Since it's Sunday Funday in the Lowcountry, we've decided to shower you with a few of our favorite Southern weddings.  This darling gem comes to us from Reese Moore Weddings and was shot at one of our favorite Charleston wedding venues, Creek Club at I'On.  Guests were welcomed to the reception by the cheerful sounds of The Plantation Singers and fresh, Carolina peaches in wicker and burlap baskets.  They sipped on specialty drinks in mason jars, engaged in a casual game of cornhole and dined on authentic, Lowcountry cuisine.  We're talking about a delicious dose of barbecue, mac and cheese and buttermilk cornbread!   They bid farewell to their guests in a classic sparkler exit before hopping in a boat to end the night!

Charleston Beach Wedding {Toni + Doc}

I hope everyone has enjoyed their time off!  I wanted to kick off this short work week with a charming beach wedding from Charleston wedding vendor, Priscilla Thomas Photography.  Toni and Doc met when Toni was a junior in high school and he was a freshman at USC. They were together throughout college but separated thereafter. In the 24 years that followed, they only saw each other once. But a few years ago they reconnected on Facebook and that led to a second chance to be together. Their wedding ceremony took place in the evening at Folly Beach by pier 1580. The family made a week long vacation out of the event by renting a beach house near the ceremony location. They opted for a simple, intimate wedding with close friends and family and classic blue details.

Bluff Drive Engagement {Savannah}

I ran across this timeless Bluff Drive wedding engagement from Jade + Matthew Take Pictures a few months ago and about fell out of my chair! I knew that it was time for us to road trip it from Charleston down to Savannah and I can't wait for you to see why .  This beautiful couple knocked it out of the park with their classic, Southern attire and they couldn't have picked a more picturesque, Lowcountry backdrop.

Wando Farms Wedding {Lydia + Clay}

I had a hard time choosing what pictures to use for this beauty from Fia Forever Photography because in every shot blushing bride Lydia is completely elated.  It's just too lovely not to share.  Lydia + Clay got hitched in Mt. Pleasant, at the charming Wando Farms, in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony.  Later, the couple and their guests slipped on their dancing shoes for the perfect evening under the Lowcountry stars.  Charleston wedding vendor, Ooh! Maddison Rown + Bella Bridesmaid Event

Wild Dunes Wedding {Chris + Katie}

If you’ve never ventured out to Wild Dunes Resort you simply must plan a trip.  It makes you feel like you’re in your own perfect, little world and, from the looks of it, that’s exactly how Chris + Katie felt on their wedding day.  The adorable twosome were the epitome of a gorgeous Southern couple.  Chris looked looked dapper and relaxed in a tan suit and pale pink tie combo, while Katie looked effortless in a sweet, strapless lacy number.  The couple corralled some of the most sought after Charleston wedding vendors to pull off their preppy, Lowcountry wedding, and I’m certain you’ll go crazy over every single detail.  For starters, how fab are those Save the Dates and the dreamy bouquets from Ooh!
