Specialty Wedding Cocktails - Guide to Creating a Personalized Bar Menu
I know, I know! Sorry doesn’t quite make up for the complete lack of blogging that’s taken place on ALW over the past week. I was off in Boston enjoying a business-related vacay, and while I had every intention of getting a few posts in, faulty hotel internet and the pure joy of being semi-unplugged (minus instagram, you know I can’t give that up!) was kind of awesome :) So, I apologize for the abrupt pause in your daily dose of Lowcountry wedding inspiration and email response, but I’m now officially back and kicking off this week with a gorgeous Charleston wedding from the talented, Richard Bell Photography. This Bride + Groom combined a lovely pink and purple color palette with some mouthwatering ham biscuits, sweet potato fries and even some Firefly vodka for a one-of-a-kind celebration at the Creek Club at I'On!

If the Lowcountry knows how to do one thing right, it's how to have a good time and, of course, that good-natured spirit always spills over to our weddings! We love good Southern cookin', a salty coastal breeze and a stiff, fruity cocktail :) I regularly get asked about fun, new specialty drinks that everyone will enjoy. Well, I ran across this guide to champagne cocktails and thought it would be very fitting for some of our Lowcountry brides. Not only would they be perfect for a Charleston wedding, but could hit the nail on the head for a bridal shower, bridesmaids luncheon...or a Tuesday night :) Enjoy!
Wedding season is upon us and for all of you Spring and Summer brides looking for the perfect tasty libation to welcome your guests, look no further! We've rounded up plenty of options. Charleston, Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach are blessed with the beautiful Lowcountry landscape that lends itself way to jaw dropping wedding venues that offer one-of-a-kind views on the water. These coastal spots will naturally put wedding guest into a celebratory mood, so your choice of food and beverage needs to share the same spirit. Welcoming your guests with a killer specialty drink will get the party started!
