Charleston Wedding {Darci + Mike}

I think we might have a winner folks!  I'm pretty sure this is the cutest ring bearer I've ever laid my eyes on and I love how he announced his mommy coming down the aisle.  Darci + Mike had an intimate, outdoor wedding ceremony in Downtown Charleston where they emotionally recited their vows in front of those who mattered most to them.  After the couple enjoyed a few sweet treats (who doesn't love wedding cake and Krispy Kreme donuts!) with their guests, the newlyweds spent some alone time n the Holy City with the wonderful Sara Bee Photography!  Thanks to Darci + Mike for sharing their beautiful Charleston destination wedding and best of luck with their little one on the way!

Holy City Engagement {Grace + Ben}

I always love when we have the opportunity to share a session by Charleston wedding photographer, Mackenzie of The Click Chick Photography.   Mackenzie has a knack for bringing out each couple's individuality in a fun, fresh way that can't help but bring a smile to your face.  Today's smitten couple, Grace + Ben, spent a lovely Lowcountry afternoon gallivanting around the Holy City (cobblestone and all!) to capture some seriously frame-able images!

Day After Session {Brooke + Brad}

As most of you know, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you our first ever A Lowcountry Wedding Lookbook that will be available for purchase this Fall!  It’s been a crazy summer as we’ve dove head first into a world of styled shoots, fashion editorials and graphic design (lots of graphic design!) like we’ve never experienced before.  With that being said, it’s been an incredible learning experience and SO much fun, so thank you to my wonderful interns and everyone that’s been involved so far.  I couldn’t do it without you and I really can’t wait to share the end results!  I do need your help with one more little thing though :)  I"m looking for your favorite reception pics, you know, the one’s where your guests are really in the midst of busting a move.  So, if you’ve got an image of a friend, bridesmaid, grandmother or crazy aunt getting their groove on, then send it over to hello{at}alowcountrywed.com.  They’ll be put to good use!  Now, on to the fun stuff because you know I wouldn’t dare ask a favor and not have a little Charleston wedding loveliness to back it up.  Brooke and Brad were actually married in Greenville, South Carolina, but they made their way down to the Lowcountry for a beautiful day-after session in the Holy City with Patrick Hall Photography!

Boone Hall Plantation {Ashley + Greg}

As we dive head first into June, get ready to be showered with posts and posts of Lowcountry loveliness beginning with this wonderful Charleston wedding engagment from Dana Cubbage Wedding Photography.  Things got started on the grounds of dreamy Boone Hall Plantation where Ashley + Greg enjoyed the poppy fields, Spanish moss and lovely coastal views.  Shortly after, they headed Downtown as they wrapped things up in the heart of the Holy City.
