Chelsea & Todd's Pink wedding at Old Wide Awake Plantation was the absolute sweetest. The two, dressed like every Lowcountry couple should be in early Spring - him in a blue seersucker suit and her in a flattering Maggie Sottero gown - invited friends and family to join them for their outdoor celebration at Old Wide Awake Plantation just outside of Charleston, SC. The couple, who met online, quickly bonded during their first date at Ribfest over their love of the outdoors, biking and cooking. Todd surprised Chelsea with a post-Christmas engagement (on his birthday!) at Battery Park under the assumption she would be testing out her new camera. On their walk, Todd volunteered to pose for a picture in front of a statue and as Chelsea began looking through the lens, she saw him get down on one knee. "I couldn’t believe it," remembers Chelsea. "He said, 'All I really want for my birthday is for you to be my wife forever.' It was the sweetest feeling that I have ever felt!” So sweet! For their wedding day, Chelea scoured Etsy and beyond for the perfect handmade goods to accent her shabby-chic vision. She included seersucker bowties, vintage globes and a beautiful ceremony chandelier to complement her soft pink and blue color palette. After their ceremony, the couple snuck away with Priscilla Thomas Photography for a few private moments down by the water.
