After selecting Charleston to host their destination wedding, Lauren & Josh decided on The Legare Waring House to their November festivities. With the help of Fabulous Fete, the couple enjoyed an enchanting evening in vibrant shades of purple and orange. Lauren wore an amazing blush Watters gown that she paired with a stunning pair of sequined plum heels. As a personal touch, she had custom handkerchiefs made for her parents. Each included their own personal message - how sweet! Wildflowers Inc. created bouquets of soft-hued roses while Lauren carried an arrangement of deep purple calla lilies. From Priscilla Thomas Photography: "Lauren added a twist to seeing Josh before the ceremony. She requested a surprise first look - where the groom is unaware that he is going to see his bride. Josh was taken to the wedding garden for his portraits, and Lauren quietly snuck up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. Their reactions and loving embrace were amazing moments to witness. The pair braved rain drizzle and cold for outdoor portraits before marrying in front of the avenue of oaks. After their nuptials, they celebrated with their guests on the back patio. Stephen of EPIC Charleston provided an eclectic mix of music from country to pop. After a lowcountry meal served by Cafe Catering, Lauren and Josh cut a one-tiered white rosettes cake and shared delicious cupcakes all created by The Cake Stand. The ladies of Fabulous Fete designed a chic fall event and quickly adapted to changing weather conditions by adding heaters and handing out plum colored blankets to guests. Most wedding days do not go as planned, but they go just right nonetheless. Lauren and Josh's wedding proves that."
