Destination couples flock to the Lowcountry in search of their perfect wedding venue and while some are on the hunt for classic Southern plantations, others yearn for waterfront views and beachside ceremonies, which is just what Sarah + Ben found at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. The high school sweethearts tied the knot this past September in laidback bash with a beachy color palette of blush, blue and green. Guests made the trek to Charleston from all across the continent (Ben and his family hail from the Canadian mountains) to enjoy the sand and warm weather. Sarah wore a lace gown and her mother’s veil as she made her way down the aisle where the two said ‘I do’ under the watchful eye of their beloved bulldog Bentley and the beautiful palm trees. After, they enjoyed an open-air reception with sweet centerpieces from Pretty Petals of Charleston and a coastal-inspired cake from Kaminsky’s.
