You know we love us some Sally Watts Photography over here at ALW.  I'm pretty sure she could snap a picture of my old, dirty tennis shoes and make it frame-worthy!  Her timeless approach to photography makes her an obvious addition to any bride planning a Charleston wedding, something that Bride Anna knows oh-so-well.  Sally captured Anna + Chad's gorgeous Alhambra Hall wedding just over the bridge in Mount Pleasant and we're in LOVE with the dreamy portraits she captured on that crisp December day.

Daniel Island {Amanda + Jay}

Oh, Sally Watts!  The magic you make with a veil just makes my heart skip-a-beat.  I guess it’s that wonderful combination of an awesome Charleston wedding photographer, a gorgeous bride and killer natural light that has me swooning over this breathtaking Southern wedding.  Not to mention, the entire Daniel Island affair was planned and designed by the fabulous Megan of Mingle!  It’s a combination of talent that is bound to deliver oohs and ahhs every single time!  Amanda + Jay were blessed with a beautiful Lowcountry day where they wed along the marsh (heaven!) in front of their family and friends.  The bridesmaids were dressed in floor-length navy gowns while the men looked handsome in classic black tuxedos.  The festivities continued at the Pierce Park Pavilion where guests were treated to a seated dinner from Good Food Catering (don’t those Shrimp and Grits look amazing!?), an array of desserts and a celebration that last way after the sun went down!  We’re in love with the effortless décor, pops shimmering gold and perfect evening lighting.

Alhambra Hall Wedding {Jenna + Michael}

I'm wrapping up this week and heading into February the only way I know how...with a big, dreamy Lowcountry wedding!  This Charleston beauty took place on Mount Pleasant at the charming Alhambra Hall where Jenna + Michael tied the knot in a outdoor ceremony.   After, the newlyweds took a stroll with the talented Sally Watts Photography to capture a few breathtaking moments by the water.  Thanks to our friend, and ALW vendor, Pure Luxe Bride for coordinating this one-of-a-kind Southern affair! -
