Jennifer Bearden Photography recently teamed up that lovely ladies of  Mingle for a big ol' southern wedding celebration at Legare Waring House in Charleston, SC.  Bride Lauren and her groom Justin, wanted a dyed-in-the-wool southern affair, and it was! Married outdoors in front of a reclaimed mantle from a Charleston estate under the grand Oak trees! Gingham bow ties, oysters, bourbon bars and succulents adorning the cake. The color palate was a clean base of navy set off by a wealth of other hues of blue and white, so striking against the Lowcountry backdrop. It was a beautiful, deeply Southern and meaningful affair, full of all the things a great Southern wedding should be!

Marion's in the French Quarter {Mingle} Paige Winn Photo

Last, but certainly not least, I'm excited to share the beautiful styled shoot Megan of Mingle created this past summer at Marion's in the French Quarter which was included in our premier issue of A Lowcountry Wedding Mag!  Megan was kind enough to invite us a long to enjoy the styling of the great Mingle minds, photography from Paige Winn Photo and dreamy gowns from Maddison Row!   Thanks to Paperdolls Hair & Makeup transforming model Katie into the picture-perfect Charleston Bride.  First Bloom of Charleston whipped vibrant bouquets and centerpieces while Limos for Less let us ride in style!   Even though we wanted to (and we sure did try!), we couldn’t include everything in the magazine, so to see all the details you can head on over and check out the complete Mag here!

Daniel Island {Amanda + Jay}

Oh, Sally Watts!  The magic you make with a veil just makes my heart skip-a-beat.  I guess it’s that wonderful combination of an awesome Charleston wedding photographer, a gorgeous bride and killer natural light that has me swooning over this breathtaking Southern wedding.  Not to mention, the entire Daniel Island affair was planned and designed by the fabulous Megan of Mingle!  It’s a combination of talent that is bound to deliver oohs and ahhs every single time!  Amanda + Jay were blessed with a beautiful Lowcountry day where they wed along the marsh (heaven!) in front of their family and friends.  The bridesmaids were dressed in floor-length navy gowns while the men looked handsome in classic black tuxedos.  The festivities continued at the Pierce Park Pavilion where guests were treated to a seated dinner from Good Food Catering (don’t those Shrimp and Grits look amazing!?), an array of desserts and a celebration that last way after the sun went down!  We’re in love with the effortless décor, pops shimmering gold and perfect evening lighting.
