Pepper Plantation Wedding from Carolina Photosmith

Just last week, I was at a photo shoot for the upcoming A Lowcountry Wedding print magazine.  Vendors from across the Southeast had driven in and weeks of preparation had gone into this one afternoon.  Naturally, it rained.  What started as a few sprinkles quickly turned into a downpour and by the end of the day, we were all soaking wet and ready to go home.  While we definitely made the most of the situation, I couldn't help but think about brides who have to deal with less than ideal weather on their wedding day and how they better love their back up plan!  While the weather may have caused today’s couple, Tara + Chris, to make a last minute change and move their ceremony indoors, you’d never guess it was their Plan B.   With the fires lit in both fireplaces and the mantle covered with garland and candles, the couple wed indoors in a romantic and cozy setting.  Cru Catering delivered yet another fantastic meal while Booty Call kept guests up and moving with their stellar repertoire and lively horn section.  Thanks to Carolina Photosmith for capturing such a charming Pepper Plantation wedding!
