Our Story: Royce and I met ten years ago when we were both working at the same restaurant in Charleston. After going back to college, we would occasionally keep in touch. Once we were both back in Charleston again we slowly began dating. After a camping trip to the mountains, I knew I loved Royce. Shortly after we moved to Wilmington, NC. Four years later, we are still in Wilmington and excited to spend the rest of our lives together!
Our Wedding Day: My wedding day was perfect! We got married under a huge live oak with hanging lanterns, over-looking the lowcountry marsh. The ceremony was shortly before sunset so guests were able to watch the sun go down over the water. The reception was an indoor/outdoor affair with incredible food and an amazing band. The lawn had comfy seating and giant jenga. The perfect night ended with a sparkler sendoff!
Our Vision: My dream was to have a beautiful indoor/outdoor wedding where guests could enjoy the water, marsh, and oak trees of the lowcountry. I wanted a winter wedding with out making it look too much like Christmas. Touches of burlap, plaid, and lots of greenery was a perfect compliment to the garnet and charcoal color scheme.
