From Emily: "Witt and I met at the gym 5 years ago and never looked back. On January 2nd, 2016, Witt told me we were going to a New Year's party on Daniel Island for one of his doctors. As we were driving there, he received a fake phone call from the host of the party explaining that they were running late. Witt suggested we park the car and go for a walk, since it was so beautiful out. As we started walking, he reminded me of our first date and that we sat over the water and talked for hours. Then it hit me. He brought me to the location of our first date. The rest is history & it was incredible! He designed the ring with my Dad in NYC & planned a large party with all our friends and family after he proposed. It was simply magical."
