Sheridan & Taylor met while in business school at MIT but it was on a study abroad trip to the Middle East that sparks began to fly. The couple were traveling through Jordan and Egypt, on a trip of a lifetime, and ended up at Bedouin Camp in the Wadi Rum Desert. The two spent an evening stargazing and enjoying each other's company until the wee hours of the morning and have been together ever since. Eventually, Taylor concocted the perfect proposal and presented Sheridan with numerous riddles, the final compared their relationship to the math equation Euler's Identity - considered the most beautiful equation because it combines real and imaginary to make perfect sense. The couple chose The Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn Plantation, a rustic Hilton Head wedding venue, for their September celebration. The ceremony was held under an ancient oak tree where Sheridan was the epitome of a Lowcountry bride in a flowing BHLDN gown and her groom wore a grey suit. The Spanish moss swayed in the wind while their friends and family looked on as the couple became Mr. and Mrs. There reception was held under the pavilion at Honey Horn Plantation where Southern by Design Weddings created the laid back Fall evening the couple envisioned. Lawn games, like badminton and corn hole were set up for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour before Lowcountry Eats treated guests to their signature coastal cuisine. Sheridan and her bridesmaids were to thank for the fragrant centerpieces which were full of eucalyptus, brunia and lisianthus.
