The new 5,000 square foot venue, which was the final phase of an amazing renovation at the Resort, opened earlier this Summer in a truly grand fashion. The team at The Westin wanted to offer couples unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean in a climate-controlled setting to host large weddings and events. To create their vision, they teamed up with local designers to construct one of the top oceanfront venues on the East Coast.
The stunning interior is the definition of coastal chic with a neutral color palette and high-end finishes. The seaside space holds up to 220 guests and is perched just above the dunes for the perfect view of the water (which guests can enjoy from the wrap-around balcony). Not only were we completely smitten with the new venue, but we were equally impressed with their experienced catering and sales team - who sure know how to throw a party. The food, the service and the atmosphere of the Grand Ocean Terrace was above and beyond our expectations.
The icing on the cake, the West Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa is home to multiple venues, like the Grand Ballroom and Oceanfront Deck, and can accommodate celebrations of any size and vibe. The spacious Oceanfront Deck is the ideal spot for brides looking for a festive welcome party, rehearsal dinner or outdoor ceremony.
