With the help of The Burlap Elephant, Megan & John's Spring wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation was the elegant evening they had long been waiting for. The couple were introduced over dinner after an evening of sailing in the Charleston Harbor, and while it wasn't love at first sight, Megan's love of sweets caused her to strike up a conversation with John in order to steal his cookie. The couple soon became inseparable and when John's job relocated him to San Diego, Megan gladly joined him on his trip across the country. When John began scheming his proposal, he knew Charleston would have to be the special place. So on a trip back to the Holy City over the 4th of July, John popped the question. Their celebration took place on April 30th in their favorite South Carolina city at Lowndes Grove Plantation where they invited their friends and family to join them for an intimate affair.
