Alexis + Woody combined everything they love for their Cottage on the Creek wedding in Charleston, SC. They started by selecting Cottage on the Creek, a waterfront venue in Mount Pleasant, that offers up postcard-like views of Shem Creek and serves as the perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony in the city where they met! The ladies sported their choice of yellow dress and TOMS while the guys wore grey suits with yellow and grey Pumas. Alexis wore a lovely strapless Alfred Angelo dress, her grandmother's vintage fur and a floral crown from FLOWERSHOP. Woody, like most of us, is a beer enthusiast and over the years has collected countless growlers from across the East Coast which the couple used as vases for their centerpieces. Woody's dad and the couple's aunts were tasked with designing all of the bouquets and arrangements and we think they did an awesome job! Sugar Bakeshop created a charming dessert table with multiple cakes and a Key Lime Pie - just for Woody! Since Alexis is a New Yorker at heart and Woody is from Nebraska, the couple decide to dance to "You and I" by Lady Gaga. Our favorite part, the couple chose Sean Money + Elizabeth Fay, their good friends, to document their Charleston wedding day at Cottage on the Creek and boy, did they do a good job!
