We're turning up the glam this morning with a romantic Summer wedding at Magnolia Plantation from Cibi Events and Riverland Studios. The couple, Rose & Joey, knew each other in high school but it wasn't until after college that the two became something special. For their big June affair, Rose (who you may remember from her stunning William Aiken House bridals) donned an elegant gown with beaded straps and a ruffled skirt while her bridesmaids wore a deep shade of blue. The ceremony took place on Magnolia Plantation's lawn where crisp white chairs, pink parasols and sweetgrass fans greeted guests. They exchanged vows under a beautifully adorned arbor full of white hydrangeas, peach garden roses and pink roses from the team at Branch Design Studio. The reception was held in an enclosed tent behind the veranda and it was nothing short of breathtaking. Draped in floor-to-ceiling white fabric and adorned chandeliers, guests were treated to a magical Lowcountry evening. Vintage china was placed at each seat along with gold-rimmed glassware, flatware and white chairs while lush, textured centerpieces pulled the entire design together. Cru Catering served up a mouthwatering menu of shrimp & grits and beef filet which was followed by a beautiful cake from Cakes by Kasarda. The evening concluded on the dance floor where The Mighty Kicks lead the way!
