Katelyn & Joseph's Charleston wedding day at The Historic Rice Mill Building showcased their laid back personalities. "Our vision for our wedding was to really express our personalities," said Katelyn. "We wanted a rustic and elegant theme, neutral and pale colors with simple decorations. We wanted everyone to fall in love with Charleston as much as we did by having a fun and stress free evening on the beautiful harbor." The rustic style started with Katelyn's attire as she paired her cowboy boots with a glamorous gown and birdcage veil. Her hair was swept off her face in curly up-do. The men wore grey suits and vests and finished off their looks with rustic boutonnieres from Anna Bella Florals tied with burlap. The couple swapped vows at the entrance of The Rice Mill Building. The bridal party, with the bridesmaids toting custom clutches instead of bouquets, stood to each side of the wine barrels that marked the altar. After the ceremony, guests made their way inside where they indulged in Lowcountry cuisine from Good Food Catering and enjoyed playing cornhole.. The tables were covered with white linens and burlap toppers that held beautiful floral centerpieces from Anna Bella Florals. The centerpieces, in mason jars wrapped with burlap and lace, included lush hydrangeas, roses and baby's breath.
